The EFG marketing team is comprised of individuals
with broad multifamily backgrounds. The team members all have
institutional backgrounds at companies such as Travelers, Lend
Lease and Archstone. Together they have over 60 years of experience
in the real estate industry.
Greg has twenty years experience in the commercial real estate
specializing in the sale of institutional apartment
properties. Prior to opening Engler Financial Group, Greg was
the Moran & Company Southeast partner for over seven years
and closed over $1.0 billion in transactions for many
institutional owners. Greg was responsible for multifamily
acquisitions and development in the Southeast for Archstone
Communities. Prior to Archstone, Greg spent eight years at Travelers
Realty Investment Company overseeing the disposition of $2.0
billion of commercial real estate throughout the country. He
has a B.S. in construction engineering from Nebraska and an MBA in real estate
from SMU. Greg is a licensed real estate broker in
Georgia, Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina,
Louisiana, Virginia and Tennessee, and is also a licensed
salesperson in Texas. He is on the Board of Directors for The
National Multihousing Council and is a member of The Blue
Multifamily Council at U.L.I.
Pat has fifteen years experience in commercial real estate
specializing in acquisitions, accounting and finance. Prior to joining Engler Financial Group,
Pat spent three years at Moran & Company as a manager
overseeing $250 million in dispositions. Prior to Moran &
Company, Pat worked as an associate in the acquisitions office
of Lend Lease in Atlanta, GA. At Lend Lease, Pat assisted
in the closing of approximately $400 million in transactions and
underwrote an additional $1.5 billion. Pat has a BA and
MBA from the University of Georgia as well as his CPA
designation. He is a licensed real estate salesman in the
states of Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Kris joined EFG in 2007 and has a background in commercial real estate
capital markets. Prior to joining EFG, Kris was a
member of the Capital Markets Group at the Colliers
International office in Atlanta, Georgia. Kris'
primary role was originating debt and equity placement for a
large group of correspondent lenders. Kris is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology,
where he earned a Bachelor's degree in management. Kris is a
licensed real estate salesperson in Georgia, North Carolina
and South Carolina.
Pearce joined EFG in 2004
and has a background in commercial appraisal,
brokerage, mortgage financing, and investment research. Prior to working at Engler
Financial Group, Pearce was
responsible for production of multifamily
marketing materials at Greycliffe Partners in Tampa as well as
Apartment Realty Advisors in Boca Raton. Past experience also
includes iCap Realty Advisors
as a correspondent lender as well as in investment
research department of Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, where he supported portfolio managers
through strategic and tactical real estate investment
research. Pearce has a B.S. in Real Estate from
Florida State University and a Master’s degree in Real
Estate and Urban Analysis from the University of Florida. Pearce is a licensed real estate salesperson in Florida.
Sherry joined EFG in 2003 and
has a Paralegal background. Prior to joining EFG, Sherry worked ten years at Archstone-Smith where she was a Paralegal and
Due Diligence Coordinator for all acquisitions and
dispositions. Sherry coordinated all on-site due diligence
in addition to monitoring all
real estate contracts,
third-party consultants, title commitments,
surveys, environmental, wetlands and engineering reports,
and managed the closing process. Sherry has been involved in
the due diligence coordination for over $8 billion of
acquisitions and dispositions at EFG and prior employers.
Sherry has her ABA Paralegal designation and is a licensed
real estate salesperson in Georgia.
Whit worked as an associate at
National Property Valuation Advisors where he performed
valuations of several different property types including
industrial, office, retail, multifamily, and land for
institutional investors. While at NPV Advisors, he worked
on over $2.2 billion in valuations. Whit has also had
experience with two development companies, Pavilion
Development, a retail developer, and Estates Management, a
regional multifamily developer, both based in the
Carolinas. Whit is a graduate of Clemson University where
he earned a BA degree in architecture as well as an MBA in
real estate.
Nicholas has over fifteen years of institutional real estate
experience in the areas of development, site acquisition, asset
management, and valuation services with an emphasis on
multifamily housing. Nicholas joined the EFG team in 2011,
and is based in our Tampa, Florida office. Nicholas holds an
MBA in real estate from the University of Florida, a BA in
finance from Michigan State University, and is a licensed real
estate salesperson in Florida. Prior to joining EFG, Nicholas
served as the southeast Regional Director of Multifamily
Development for Zaremba Group, LLC, a private, 80-year-old,
national real estate company based in Cleveland, Ohio. At
Zaremba’s Tampa based office, Nicholas helped the company
originate an institutional grade, development pipeline of
multifamily apartment, townhome, and condominium developments
that totaled over $300 million. Prior to his position at
Zaremba, Nicholas held a number of senior level real estate
positions with institutional developers and owners of
multifamily real estate including Dallas Texas-based, JPI
Development, Atlanta Georgia-based Norsouth Companies, and
Greenville South Carolina-based Insignia Financial Group. |
